  • When I get the time, I'm hoping to set up a more professional long-term blog (which doesn't have all this xanga community stuff--that's what facebook's for) and actually use it for blogging (imagine that!)  Granted, this may not happen till summer, but that's only six weeks away.  Yikes.  I'll probably be working as a software engineer for Chief Architect Inc.--a small company with a really cool home design product--in Coeur d'Alene Idaho.  I need to decide if I'll accept their offer in a day or two.  Anyways, this would give me a chance to blog about what I'll be learning about software, and more importantly what I'll be learning about God, so that that in the process I can keep in touch with my amigos over the summer.

It's funny, my close friends are all very used to my random breaking into Spanish so they think nothing of it, but then I do it at an RHA meeting or something and get weird looks.  Yeah, I'm a little weird.

Funny story: I lost my Bible a few weeks ago and have been looking all over the place to find it.  I mean, who would steal a Bible?  Saturday, I was eating lunch with my Spanish Bible there when the CEO of Chief Architect called me about the job offer, and I rushed out to my hall to plug in my cell phone before it died.  (I did not succeed).  Later I thought I had left my Bible there, so I asked for it in the lost and found, and they pulled out my original missing Bible!  Turns out I had put my Spanish Bible in my backpack, so I never really lost it.

Later that day, the Cougar Basketball team blew Notre Dame out of the water with a 20-point margin of victory.  They're a good team too--I mean, they're the Fighting Irish after all, with a redheaded Leprechaun mascot.  So the Cougs are in the Sweet Sixteen.  Saturday was a good day.

    Cheers--

  • So my weird post below sounds like I was in a terrible mood or something.  I'm laughing...   Most of you know I'm a pretty optimistic person.  Don't worry, that's still the case.

To add a random thought, I've heard that starting a sentence with "so" is a distinctive Northwestern trait.  (One New Yorker said it was "cute.") I'm curious if this is true.  I do see or hear it a lot in informal conversation.

Keepin' nice and busy in Pullman.  RHA (check out the spiffy new website) is taking a lot of time, but I've got a great group to work with.

  • "Top News" headlines from foxnews.com.  "Our citizenship is in heaven"--thank God for that. "How beautiful are the feet of him who brings good news"--if only because it's so rare.

Wow.  Actually, I see one piece of good news there, the "back-from the dead victim."  Wait, never mind, she died the next day.

On a more positive note, Pullman is blanketed with about a foot of beautiful snow.
